Aiming to accelerate positive impacts on environment while seeking to generate attractive financial returns
Mirova Environment Capital Acceleration aims to accelerate positive impacts on the environment by providing growth capital (acceleration capital) to innovative pan-European companies with a capitalisation between €20 and €400 million.
The fund targets companies with strong Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) standards that participate in the development of 5 key environmental themes:
- Natural resource management
- Agro-agricultural technologies
- Circular economy
- Clean energy
- Smart cities
The fund takes a focus on innovative green solutions/technologies addressing environmental challenges through a virtuous business model directly targeting 9 Sustainable Development Goals (3,6,7,9,11,12,13,14,15).
Applying a flexible approach to investment, the fund takes minority interests, majority, can participate in co-investment operations or on the secondary market with investment tickets between 5 and 30M €.
Fund maturity: 10 years extendable twice for an additional year

Mirova is the management company. The supervisory authority approval is not required for this fund.
