Groupe BPCE, Mirova, and Natixis CIB partners of the World Living Soils Forum 2026 to accelerate action for soil regeneration
On the occasion of the third edition of the World Living Soils Forum, organized by Moët Hennessy (Wines & Spirits division of the LVMH Group) and ChangeNOW on June 3 and 4, 2026 at LUMA Arles, Mirova joins the Advisory Board alongside Groupe BPCE and Natixis CIB. Composed of around fifteen experts from diverse backgrounds (including Pernod Ricard, Nestlé & Nespresso, PwC France and Maghreb), this Board contributes to the management of the Forum, the definition of its editorial line, and the joint development of its program.
This partnership marks a major milestone in Mirova’s commitment to soil regeneration, a key lever for agricultural transition, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation.
Living soils: a systemic challenge at the heart of ecological transition
Living soils are an essential pillar for food security, climate resilience, and biodiversity preservation. Yet, 40%[1] of them are currently threatened by erosion, pollution, or overexploitation.
Faced with this systemic challenge, the World Living Soils Forum has established itself as an international space for dialogue and action, bringing together scientists, farmers, businesses, financial institutions, and public stakeholders around a common goal: to develop concrete and measurable solutions to accelerate the transition to regenerative agricultural practices.
A strengthened commitment in support of operational and financeable solutions
This commitment is fully aligned with Mirova’s approach, as a pioneer of sustainable finance long engaged with agricultural and territorial actors to support more resilient and sustainable models. By joining the Forum’s Advisory Board, Mirova will actively contribute to:
- Co-developing the editorial and strategic direction of the World Living Soils Forum,
- Sharing its expertise in responsible finance and impact investing,
- Supporting the emergence of economic models and operational solutions enabling the scaling up of soil regeneration.
Soil regeneration is one of the essential conditions for the resilience of our territories. We are working to structure concrete solutions that restore this vital capital while supporting sustainable agricultural models. Joining the World Living Soils Forum gives us the opportunity to amplify this movement, alongside committed stakeholders who are fostering the emergence of large-scale, operational and financeable approaches.
Our cooperative model roots us in local territories and the people who shape them. By joining the World Living Soils Forum’s Consultative Council, BPCE Groupe — with Natixis CIB and Mirova — stands alongside soil regeneration leaders to develop practical, on-the-ground solutions that meet real needs.

Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers dedicated to sustainable investing, announces a USD10 million investment in Big Tree Farms, a leading producer of organic coconut sugar products in Indonesia. This transaction, executed through Mirova’s Sustainable Land Use strategy, aims to reshape supply chains, scaling sustainable sourcing and strengthening operational resilience across Asia.
Ten years after the Paris Agreement, COP30[1] in Belém unfolded against a backdrop of shifting global dynamics, where climate issues are increasingly intertwined with strategic, industrial, and sovereignty considerations. While the final text does not resolve all uncertainties, it confirms a clear trajectory: climate finance is entering a phase of maturity, one that demands greater credibility, transparency, and measurable outcomes. For Mirova, this 30th edition highlighted both the growing influence of actors from the Global South and the emergence of more robust financial tools capable of mobilizing private capital at the scale required.
